The plant is known to treat snakebite, applied to abscesses, eye pain, hepatitis, malaria, thirst, cough, hemorrhage, nosebleeds, urine, and boils when consumed as a tea. It is also known to anti-inflammatory, diuretic, depurative, febrifuge and refrigerant.

Botanical name : Marsilea quadrifolia
Other name : Four Leaf Clover or European Waterclover
